Hi, I’m Alisa – I am so glad you’re here, visiting my home!
I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my boys - a place where misty forests, rocky shores, and shifting light constantly remind me how alive the world is. Growing up here has shaped the way I see beauty: quiet, grounded, and always changing. Nature is where I return to breathe, to listen, to feel whole again - and I’m always seeking to bringing that same sense of balance and beauty into my home.
After studying architecture and spending years renovating and staging homes, I realized that I’ve always been drawn to nature and the desire to incorporate natural elements and systems when it comes to decorating and designing spaces. I never had a desire to fill a room with props, instead, I gravitated towards plants as decor, a natural basket for storage, or naturally imperfect wooden table for the organic beauty and gentle accents. I’d open up the windows to let natural light in, rather than covering them up with heavy curtains, and leaned towards light colors and open spaces, over heavy furnishings just to fill the space. Over time, I realized that by taking cues from nature – its systems, structure, and inherent beauty – we can create more harmonious, sustainable, and intentional spaces.
I’m now more inspired than ever to explore how we can incorporate nature’s wisdom into both our homes and lives, and want to share this with you! I believe that when we reconnect with nature, we create environments that feel balanced, peaceful, and alive.
If you're looking to reconnect your space with the natural rhythms and harmony that already exist around you, or if you simply need guidance to make your home feel more tranquil and intentional, I’d love to work with you. I believe that you don’t need to make big purchases or have a perfect plan – just thoughtful, simple guidance rooted in ease and natural beauty.
Feel free to reach out if you would like to learn more, or if you’re ready to begin!
My philosophy
why learn from nature?
Nature is not just around us - we are nature.
Long before humans built homes or systems, nature had already mastered balance, beauty, and regeneration. Every element - from the forest floor to the ocean tide - plays a role in maintaining harmony.
When we learn from nature, we’re reminded that everything is connected. Our homes, habits, and inner lives don’t exist in isolation - they are living systems, just like ecosystems. The same principles that keep nature thriving - simplicity, flow, adaptability, and renewal - can guide us in how we live and design our spaces.
By learning from nature and using its wisdom as our foundation, we can design spaces that support well-being, foster calm, and move in rhythm with life itself. Yes, even in those hectic moments when the kids are little and the mess seems to never end!
Nature shows us how to live in balance, how to create harmony, and how to flow through changes of life with grace.
Nothing in nature is wasted or rushed - every leaf, stone, and current serves a purpose, forming a system that feels alive, connected, and at peace.
I believe our homes can reflect that same intelligence.
By learning from natural systems, we design and organize spaces that move with life, not against it - homes that breathe, evolve, and support us through every season.
In Harmony with Life
Just as nature thrives through rhythm and renewal, so can we in our daily lives.
When our environments align with natural balance - simplicity, calm, and flow - they become places of restoration.
Purpose in Every Detail
Like nature, we design with intention.
Every choice, texture, and placement serves a purpose - creating beauty through meaning rather than excess.
Rooted and Alive
We are not separate from nature - we are nature, with the unique ability to create in alignment with it.
When we do, our spaces nurture us deeply, reminding us to slow down, breathe, and return to what matters most.
